Chloe San Jose’s mother breaks silence; speaks through lawyer in exclusive interview with Balita

Chloe San Jose’s mom, Maria Fe San Jose, has surfaced and broke her silence on some of the alleged issues between her and her daughter.

In an exclusive interview with Manila Bulletin’s Balita, Maria Fe, through her legal counsel and longtime friend, Atty. James Mark Padrones Ciudadano, clarified some of the issues being floated online.

Maria Fe, speaking through Atty. Ciudadano, said she has decided to come out because her private life, family, and most especially her kids, were already getting affected by the what’s happening with Chloe and the Yulo family.

Atty. Ciudadano began by narrating where Chloe was born and how she ended up in Australia.

“Chloe was born in the Philippines on March 21, 2002 and left for Australia with my client on 2013, obtained an Australian citizenship on February 2020,” Atty. Ciudadano, as quoted by Balita, said in the exclusive interview.

“My client, Marie, raised Chloe on her own, the biological father whom Chloe only met last year again after being in Australia since 2013,” Maria Fe’s legal counsel, as quoted by Balita, further said.

“My client got married in Australia and that is the reason why Chloe and her sister were able to migrate to Australia,” Atty. Ciudadano, in the interview with Balita, narrated.

Maria Fe’s lawyer then confirmed that his client and her daughter indeed “were having a difficult relationship” because of difference of ideas.

“It is true, even before Carlos and Chloe met, my client Marie and Chloe already were having a difficult relationship due to the difference of ideas regarding parenting over the then minor Chloe,” Atty. Ciudadano said in his interview with Balita.

Atty. Ciudadano further clarified other issues, including the alleged case that Chloe filed against her mom, and then said that Maria Fe is not doing this for clout but she just wanted to set the facts straight.

“My client is doing this NOT for attention, money, clout or likes, but primarily to set the facts straight, so there will be no more false news about the matter, and that my client and her family can go back to living peacefully and continue on with their private life,” the legal counsel of Maria Fe said in his interview with Balita.

Chloe is the girlfriend of Pinoy Olympian Carlos Yulo who made history when he bagged two golds in a single Olympic season.

In a previous report by the Inquirer, it quoted Carlos thanking his girlfriend for caring for his mental health.

Meanwhile in a report by Philippine Star several days ago, it featured Chloe on the variety show ASAP, where the content creator performed the song “Havana” by Camila Cabello.

Chloe San Jose is the girlfriend of Carlos Yulo, a Filipino artistic gymnast known for his exceptional skills and achievements in gymnastics. He gained international recognition for his performances in various competitions, particularly in the World Artistic Gymnastics Championships. He also bagged and brought back two gold medals from the Olympics.

Recently, Chlode has posted several screenshots on social media. The screenshots were posts allegedly made by Carlos' family during the Olympics. In the screenshots, some of Carlos' family members allegedly said he did not deserve his medal. Posts allegedly made by Angelica Poquiz Yulo, his mother, were also included in the post.

Chloe also previously shared her story after showing alleged screenshots of messages from Carlos Yulo’s family. According to her statement in the comments section of her post, she and Carlos tried to make amends with Angelica Yulo by visiting her multiple times. She also added that Angelica often avoided interacting with them, making Chloe and Caloy feel excluded. Likewise, the social media personality expressed was hurt when a gift they gave Angelica was just given away.
