“Pinoy Big Brother” management has released a statement on Toni Gonzaga who has just stepped down as main host of the reality show.
On Wednesday, the 38-year-old actress and TV host announced on social media her departure from the show.
Toni likewise said she will leave the rest to Bianca Gonzalez and the other hosts.

The PBB management then publicized that it respects Toni’s decision.
“We respect the decision of Toni Gonzaga-Soriano to step down as main host of 'Pinoy Big Brother.'"
It likewise expressed gratitude to the TV host, who was part of the show for 16 years.
“Toni has been part of our reality show for 16 years and we thank her for helping bring the stories of our housemates to our viewers.”
Celestine Cruz Gonzaga-Soriano, known professionally as Toni Gonzaga, is a singer, television personality, actress, and talk show host. She is also now a YouTube vlogger with over 4.4 million subscribers. She married her longtime boyfriend, director Paul Soriano on June 12, 2015.
As reported earlier by KAMI, Toni Gonzaga became a trending topic on Twitter after she hosted the proclamation rally of Bongbong Marcos and Sara Duterte’s UniTeam. She then shared on her Instagram stories a post with the caption “unbothered” over images of her taken during the proclamation rally and screenshots of her name trending on Twitter.
Cristy Fermin, in the latest episode of Cristy Ferminute, then said she pities Toni amid the bashings she gets. As per the showbiz columnist, the actress and TV host has been receiving criticisms after she hosted the proclamation rally of Bongbong Marcos and Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte. Nanay Cristy also compared the bashings Toni has been receiving to the negative comments addressed to the celebrity supporters of Vice President Leni Robredo.
