Sugar Mercado recently shared a heartfelt message after returning to the “Eat Bulaga” stage with the SexBomb Girls.

On Saturday, September 19, Sugar and the SexBomb Girls guested on the noontime show to promote their latest song, “Mama Mama.” Their appearance gave them an opportunity to once again perform and connect with viewers of the program.

Following the guesting, Sugar took to social media to reflect on her experience. Along with a carousel of photos and clips from their appearance, she shared how being back on the “Eat Bulaga” stage brought back memories of her younger years.

Sugar also looked back on the importance of the show in their journey and expressed her happiness over being back on the stage.

The SexBomb Girls are a popular Filipino dance and performance group. They were formed as a dance group on the noontime show “Eat Bulaga!”, where they became part of the segment “Laban o Bawi.” The group is known for their energetic and daring dance performances, as well as their catchy songs such as “Spaghetti,” “Get Get Aww,” and “Bakit Papa.” Because of their unique style and strong stage presence, they quickly became a household name and one of the most popular girl groups in the Philippines during their peak. Aside from dancing, the SexBomb Girls also ventured into music, film, and television. Some members, such as Rochelle Pangilinan, Jopay Paguia, Sunshine Garcia, and others, went on to build their own careers in acting and hosting.

Sugar Mercado is a Filipino dancer, actress, and television host who initially gained widespread recognition as a member of the popular SexBomb Girls dance group. Known for her lively energy, charismatic personality, and impressive dancing skills, she became a familiar face in Philippine entertainment and earned a strong following over the years.

As previously reported by KAMI, Sugar celebrated fellow SexBomb Girls member Aira Bermudez’s birthday with a heartfelt Instagram post. She shared a carousel featuring photos and clips from Aira’s intimate yet fun birthday celebration, along with a message expressing her love and admiration for her longtime friend. Sugar described Aira as one of a kind and someone who deserves all the best things in life. She also tagged their fellow SexBomb Girls member and leader, Rochelle Pangilinan, in the post.

Earlier, Sugar made her international pageantry debut after being crowned Mrs. Universe Official 2025 in Laguna. She also received special awards for Best in National Costume, Best in Evening Gown, and Best in Talent. The celebrity mom credited her mentor, Wilbert Tolentino, and her support team, including Ate Madam Inutz and the #TeamKaFreshness family, for their guidance and encouragement throughout the competition. Looking back, Sugar admitted that she never imagined herself entering pageantry, especially as a single parent, but her perseverance and faith helped her reach the milestone.
