Renowned Filipino film producer Antonio “Tony” Gloria, affectionately called “Mr G” by his peers, has passed away. He was 79 years old.

In a report by ABS-CBN News, the heartbreaking news was confirmed by his family through his niece, Anna Bigornia. However, the cause of his death was not disclosed.
According to PhilSTAR L!fe, the late Founder and Chairman of Unitel StraightShooter’s urn viewing will take place from March 25 to 28, 9 a.m. to 10 p.m., and March 29, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., at Capilla Del Senor Chapel, Sanctuario de San Antonio Parish in Forbes Park, Makati.

The late filmmaker was a visionary leader in his four-decade career. Under Unitel Pictures, Gloria produced box office movies such as ‘Crying Ladies,’ ‘Santa Santita,’ ‘American Adobo,’ and ‘La Visa Loca,’ to name a few.
He also produced the 2024 films ‘Isang Himala’ and ‘Mujigae.’

Veteran actress Delia Razon has passed away, Carla Abellana revealed in a social media post on March 16. On her Instagram page, Abellana shared an art card paying tribute to Razon. It shows the latter’s photo and the words “Celebrating the life of Lucy May G. Reyes ‘Delia Razon’.” Razon, born on August 8, 1980, died at 94 years old on March 15, 2025. However, the Kapuso actress didn't disclose any details about her maternal grandmother’s cause of death.
Razon, known as the Queen of Costume Pictures in the '50s, was a well-regarded actress that's been featured in numerous costume and period films from LVN Pictures.
The prominent Tantoco family is currently mourning the passing of Paolo “Paowee” Tantoco. He died of an unspecified cause at the age of 44. Through a statement posted by his brother Donnie Tantoco, Paolo’s parents Rico and Nena Tantoco announced the sudden demise of their son. They then humbly asked for prayers for Paolo’s soul and the bereaved family.
Paolo is among the grandchildren of Rustan Commercial Corporation's founders, Bienvenido Tantoco Sr. and Gliceria Rustia-Tantoco. In addition to Donnie, the president of Rustan’s, his siblings include Robbie, Gippy, Katrina, Bea, and Joel. Paolo is survived by his wife, Malacañang's Deputy Social Secretary Dina Arroyo-Tantoco. They have three children: Alana, Bela and Zach.
