Cassy Legaspi, usap-usapan dahil sa kwento nito tungkol sa kanyang "ex friend"

"Alam mo, andiyan ako sa kalagitnaan ng journey ko sa teenager. Ayoko namang... [tawagin siyang] kalbaryo kasi... it's a journey. There are days na I feel happy na, 'Uy, nagbunga na yung tinuro ko.' And then there are days na, 'Bakit mo 'to ginawa? San ako nagkulang?' may ganun."

Explaining her approach to discipline, Danica emphasized that physical punishment no longer works once children reach their teenage years and that it all boils down to communicating with your child.

She admitted that she and Caela are currently in a "nagbabanggan" state with their dynamics:

The emotional gap became even more apparent when Danica tried planning one-on-one bonding:

"One time, sabi ko sa kanya, 'Caela, I want to spend time with you.' Kasi feeling mo, kasama mo lang siya sa mga family affairs, like sa church, sa games, but I wanna bond."

Matters reached an emotional peak when Caela voiced her exhaustion over the matter as well:

"Sabi niya kasi, 'Mom, you know, sometimes napapagod ako sayo. You tire me. Parang wait lang, it's not naman ganyan' so ako nahu-hurt ako na parang, 'Anong nangyari?'"

Rather than reacting out of anger, Danica chose empathy. She reached out through a heartfelt text message to remind her daughter that both of them are navigating uncharted territory in life:

"So ang ginawa ko, tinext ko, 'You know, Caela, I've been trying to reach out and spend time with you. But sometimes I feel like you're pushing away and you're slipping through my fingers, but you're growing up, but also understand that I'm also learning to be a mom at this stage of your life.' Kasi this teen life is new to me, I'm also learning sabi ko na, 'There's so much going on with you, new school, new environment,' but also me."

The message struck a chord with the young teen, leading to a tender moment of healing afterward:

"Pagkabasa niya, sabi niya, 'Mama, can I have a hug?' tapos nag-sorry siya sa akin. Sabi niya, 'I'll make an effort to spend more time, sometimes lang I'm tired, and I'm sorry.' Tas nag-sorry din ako. I'm sure maraming makaka-relate dito na, 'Anong ginawa kong mali?'"

Danica's vulnerability earned praise from viewers, with fellow parents commending her patience, humility, and willingness to listen to her child during such a formative phase of life.
