"Nahimatay ako sa kalsada at na-ospital pero hindi ako inalagaan ng 'ex' friend ko."

Surprised by the revelation, Vice probed further: "Sumama loob mo sa kanya kasi hindi ka niya inalagaan nung na-ospital ka? Bakit ka na-ospital?" To which Cassy quietly explained: "Yeah, nahimatay ako dahil sa stress and heat."

Cassy clarified that the incident did not take place locally, but rather during an overseas vacation where the two of them traveled together. When Vice pointed out how strange it was for a travel companion to abandon someone in a vulnerable state, Cassy admitted that the lack of care still puzzles her:

"Hindi ko rin alam."

The thought of an ill daughter stranded in a foreign hospital was every parent's worst nightmare, prompting father Zoren Legaspi to recount the panic they felt back home:

"Agad-agad, nung nalaman namin na na-ospital, walang nag-aalaga sa kanya dahil solo flight eh. Isa yun sa mga first time na pinayagan namin, kahit ayaw namin, 'Sige, go, gusto mo bumiyahe mag-isa with your friend. Eh di go.'"

When Vice asked if they ever confronted the companion once they arrived at the hospital, both Zoren and mother Carmina Villarroel revealed that the person had already left the picture:

"Wala na eh, wala na si friend dun." Zoren then explained that Cassy also chose to cut ties right then and there: "Pinauwi niya dahil ayaw na niyang makita."
