Mariel Padilla spoke candidly about how she and her family navigate the political issues surrounding her husband, Senator Robin Padilla.

In a video shared online and later featured by Fashion Pulis, the television host said that faith has become one of the most important things they hold on to whenever challenges arise.

"At the last point, parang ang makakapitan mo talaga is everything is God's will," she said.

The host explained that as she has grown older, she has learned to surrender many things to God and trust His plans. According to her, they continue focusing on their daily routines and family life despite the controversies linked to politics.

She stressed that their household remains peaceful even when political discussions become heated in public.

"We just do our normal everyday thing," she shared.

Mariel also clarified that the issues and conflicts often seen in the political arena do not affect their family relationship.

"Wala naman, ano lang yun eh. Politika lang naman yun, lahat ng magulo. Kami naman okay kami, hindi magulo. Politika lang naman ang magulo," she said.

The celebrity mom likewise shared how she supports Robin in simple ways at home. She said she makes sure that he has healthy and home-cooked meals, especially the food he likes.

Aside from taking care of him at home, Mariel said their family remains united in supporting the senator's beliefs and convictions.

"You know, always naman, we stand by his principles, we stand by his courage. So, we're just here for him," she stated.

According to the television personality, prayer continues to be a significant source of strength for their family. She said they constantly pray for Robin, particularly for his safety as he carries out his responsibilities.

"We pray for him, for his safety. Yun talaga. We're just here for him," Mariel added.
