Joshua explained that navigating the complex social dynamics of show business has forced him to look past the superficiality of fame and place a premium on genuine human connections built during hectic production schedules.

According to an online report published by Bandera Inquirer, the multi-talented actor candidly brought up these deep personal insights during a high-profile media press conference.

"Every show na ginagawa ko, mas yung memories and mga tao yung binabaon ko, eh. Ang hirap makahanap ng pinagkakatiwalaan mo sa industriya, and ito mga taong to, nandiyan para sa ’yo, suportahan ka," Joshua directly shared, underscoring how hard it is to discover steadfast support in an industry often driven by fleeting professional partnerships.

The actor’s timely realizations surfaced on the heels of filming his latest romance-drama series, Love is Never Gone, where he stars alongside on-screen partner Ivana Alawi.

A significant portion of the highly anticipated project required the production crew to fly out to Morocco, an experience that Joshua described as both a thrilling artistic opportunity and an intense test of character.

Filming in a foreign territory forced the young actor out of his creative comfort zone. He noted that working in North Africa introduced distinct external challenges, particularly when managing local onlookers and adapting to an entirely unfamiliar social climate.

"Siguro yung challenging lang du’n, minsan siyempre may tumitingin sa camera, du’n kami na-challenge. Hindi kami sanay sa kung paano yung mga tao du’n, of course ibang-iba sila sa atin, may ibang kultura silang sinusunod du’n," the actor added.

Joshua further emphasized that working overseas underscored the absolute necessity of rigorous focus and adaptability, leaving zero margin for performance errors due to tight schedules.

"Dito (sa Pilipinas) pwede kang magkamali, du’n parang ang hirap magkamali. Kasi parang ang limited lang ng time n’yo, ang dami pang nangyayari sa paligid mo, ta’s di ka pa familiar sa lugar," he explained.

Ultimately, Joshua views his longevity in the business as a product of mutual respect and camaraderie established on the set.

For him, a television series cannot simply be treated as a detached corporate assignment. "Ang tagal n’yong magsasama, hindi mo masasabing work is work lang. Ang ganda nung makapagcreate ka ng relationship with someone din ‘di ba?" Joshua concluded.

Hailing from Bauan, Batangas, twenty-eight-year-old Filipino actor Joshua Garcia entered the entertainment scene in 2014 through the reality program Pinoy Big Brother: All In. He has since established himself as a premier dramatic star, earning widespread critical acclaim for his roles in television dramas like The Good Son and his major commercial box office triumph in the romance film Un/Happy for You.
