"Since Sen. @hontiverosrisa is already leading this conversation, I hope LGUs of our beautiful islands could redirect some of their budget into building more clinics/hospitals. There seems to be a behavioral/territorial change in our box jellyfish if people in the comment section are writing about increased sightings. Since we don't have reasons for these changes yet, we have to adapt, give people who swim and visit our islands a fighting chance when they get stung... by informing hotel staff/tour guides on first aid specifically for this since they are the first ones we look to for help before going to the nearest hospital. We keep promoting our beaches... we should be responsible in treating the creatures that live in the water and also the tourists and locals like us who share and enjoy the beauty of their home."

On Instagram, Anne even recalled her own experience after being stung by a jellyfish back then.
