The TV presenter and news anchor said this is the reason why Alden has gone on a social media break.

In a recent interview with GMA, Alden said the death of his grandfather made him realize more the importance of a family over anything.

He said while he gives great importance to his career, he could always “drop everything” if his family needs him.

“Drop everything. Walang makakapigil sa 'kin kahit sino when it comes to family. If something goes wrong or something happens kasi, of course, we live in a very demanding world of show business, but iba kasing usapan 'pag pamilya na eh,” Alden, in a recent interview, said.

The actor is known by many to be very close to his family.
