Lolit Solis recently shared a new post on Instagram after declaring last December that her Instagram would only be until December 31, 2024.

It can be recalled that in a previous post she made last December 29, 2024, Manay Lolit gave an indication her IG posts would only be until December 31 of that year as she’s already “mentally tired.”
The veteran showbiz columnist also said she doesn’t want to exhaust her brain and would also want to savor her semi-retired position.
“Nag decide na ako na talagang hanggang December 31 na lang ang IG ko. Mentally tired na ako talaga at parang ayaw ko na talaga muna sagarin ang utak ko at savor my semi retired position. No need to prove anything or be transparent on how I feel,” Manay Lolit said in her post last December 29, 2024.

However, only a couple of hours ago today, Thursday, January 2, 2025, she shared another post on Instagram where she talked about her real self and then expressed gratitude for everything.
“Ngayon ko lang natanggap na hindi pala nagbago ang takbo ng utak at puso ko. Talagang I was getting older but refusing to grow up. Pero thinking back, narating ko naman ito na hindi nagbago ang ugali at point of view ko. I was thinking na tama siguro ang ginagawako. From the start confrontational na ako, direct to the point magsalita, at pinanindigan ko na pag ayaw ko, ipinapakita ko,” Manay Lolit said.
“Meron akong 3 sinusunod, may kakilala lang, kaaway at kaibigan. Pag kaibigan kita I will take a bullet for you anytime, anywhere. Pag kaaway kita, you’ll never hear the end of it. Basta kakilala kita, hindi ka makaka apekto sa akin. Life has been good to me. Showbiz made my life better,” she added.
“Marami akong dapat ipagpa salamat sa naibigay na buhay sa akin ng showbiz. Utang na loob ko sa showbiz ang naging magandang buhay ko. So for the so many people na dahilan kung bakit ako naging Lolit Solis, thank you so much. Another year, another struggle na sana magaan para madaling malagpasan. Salamat sa lahat dear Lord. Forever grateful,” Manay Lolit said in her recent post.
She didn’t say if this was supposed to be her final post on Instagram, which she only posted just now.
