Apostolic Vicariate of San Jose took to its Facebook page on Thursday, October 10, to issue a statement about the concert held inside the Nuestra Señora del Pilar Shrine and Parish.

Following the trending incident, the apostolic vicariate revealed that Bishop Pablito M. Tagura talked to the parish priest, Fr. Carlito M. Dimaano, and instructed the latter to apologize publicly. Fr. Dimaano then took full responsibility and recognized all the mistakes.

“The Apostolic Vicariate of San Jose would like to address officially the issue regarding the Heavenly Concert at the Nuestra Señora Del Pilar Shrine and Parish (NSDPSP) last October 6, 2024.”

“Bishop Pablito M. Tagura SVD., DD has already talked to Rev. Fr. Carlito M. Dimaano, the Parish Priest of NSDPSP. Fr. Dimaano took full responsibility for all that happened at this event. He recognized all the mistakes and apologized. Bishop Tagura instructed Fr. Dimaano to issue a public apology.”

It also asked for forgiveness from those who have been offended and scandalized because of the much-talked-about event.
