Ogie Diaz recently flexed on Instagram Stories the milestone that has been reached by the new movie, “Un/Happy For You.”

The movie stars Julia Barretto and Joshua Garcia, and is about two ex-couple meeting face to face again after their break up sometime ago.

In his post on IG Stories, the showbiz reporter and talent manager shared what he said he has read about the movie, which says it has already grossed about P420 milloin in worldwide box office receipts.

Mama Ogs also said that he read the movie was able to reach such milestone in under a month, specifically after only 27 days as of September 16.

He then congratulated those who were involved in making the movie.

“ABS-CBN Studios Un/Happy For You grosses P420 Million in worldwide box office receipts in 27 days as of Sept. 16, 2024 making it the only Filipino film of 2024 that made money at the box office. Nabasa ko lang po. Congrats,” Ogie said in his Instagram post.

Ogie Diaz is one of the most famous showbiz reporters in the Philippines. He is also an accomplished comedian and has appeared in several sitcoms and movies since the 1990s. The comedian reposted the poster of the movie and included his reaction. He congratulated the movie as a whole and underscored the acting prowess of Joshua. The movie has already earned hundreds of millions in the box office

More recently, the showbiz reporter took to social media to talk about a person who once asked a favor from him. He said that it involved not talking about the events or circumstances that transpired in the life of that person. However, the same person himself talked about the very circumstance he asked Ogie not to talk about.
