Olivia made the remarks during an exclusive interview with ABS-CBN News’ MJ Felipe as she continues to promote her third studio album, “You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love,” which is now available for streaming across digital platforms. The album was released on June 12, Philippine Independence Day.

During the interview, Olivia also looked back fondly on her 2024 concert in Manila, a special event that served as both a benefit concert and a homecoming celebration. She recalled the overwhelming support she received from Filipino fans and described the performance as one of the most memorable experiences of her career.

Reflecting on the concert, Olivia shared that making the show accessible to fans while supporting a charitable cause made it even more meaningful.

“The tickets are very inexpensive. I donated all the proceeds to charity. It was one of my favorite shows I've ever played. It was one of the most beautiful, welcoming crowds I've ever witnessed in my life,” she aired.

She also spoke about her pride in her Filipino roots and expressed gratitude for the warmth and kindness she continues to receive from people in the Philippines.

Explaining how much the support of Filipino fans means to her wherever she goes, Olivia said:

“I am so proud to be Filipino. Everyone in the Philippines is just so warm, and so encouraging, and so loving. I just take their love with me everywhere I go.”

For the first time during the interview, Olivia was also asked about the "Pambansang Pinsan" title that Filipino fans have affectionately given her.
