Previously, Michael revealed he had been stranded on the road for over 17 hours, due to the high waters that Super Typhoon Carina had caused.

In his viral online post, Michael admitted his anxiety was already kicking in, especially since the tow truck couldn't get through to him as well.

However, Michael's ordeal was reposted and reported by a Facebook page, which earned negative comments from some netizens on social media.

Following this news, Julie issued a statement, saying we should be showing empathy and support to everyone who was affected by the super typhoon.

"The comments on this post. I understand that others are facing far more difficult situations, but that doesn't diminish the distress he, a senior, is experiencing right now. We should show empathy and support to everyone affected by the typhoon—human or animal. Let's remember to be kind to one another, guys," she wrote.

Most of her ashes were with her parents, siblings, and children. Some of Cherie's ashes were scattered in a place Bukidnon, her favorite place.
