Aiko Melendez, a well-known actress, just congratulated her daughter, Marthena Jickain, on her graduation and penned a sweet note for her.

On Tuesday, May 28, Aiko took to her Instagram page to post some stunning snapshots of her daughter from her graduation this year.

In her online post, Aiko acknowledged her daughter's hard work and efforts in studying and juggling her time as a volleyball player.

"Dear Marthena “MIMI,” congratulations on your graduation! This is such a proud moment for you and for all of us. I know how much you’ve worked hard for this, Juggling your time on studying and being an athlete “volleyball player .” You have shown incredible dedication, passion, and discipline and achieved so much. Watching you grow, learn, and succeed has been one of the greatest joys of my life. As you step into this new chapter, remember that the future is wide open with endless possibilities. Continue to follow your dreams, stay true to yourself, and know that you have all the courage and talent to achieve whatever you set your mind and heart to," she wrote.

By the end of her post, Aiko expressed just how proud she was as a mother and how excited she is for Marthena's future.

"We are so proud of you and excited to see what amazing things you will do next. With all my love rooting for you! I will always be your number 1 supporter, best friend :) Thank you, for you were never a headache to me. To my mini-me, thank you for studying so hard and giving me good grades. You make me so proud and happy!" she wrote.

Aiko Melendez is a well-known showbiz personality. In 2018, she received the Best Supporting Actress award for her role in "Rainbow's Sunset." Aiko ran for and won a seat on the Quezon City Council in 2001. She served for nine years until 2010.
