Melai Cantiveros’ red carpet moment during the 2023 Asia Artists Awards is making the rounds on social media.

The Filipino comedienne did some funny poses in front of the press present at the prestigious awards ceremony held at the Philippine Arena on December 14.

While Melai was being photographed, Ryan Bang, the host of the event’s red carpet segment, could not help reacting hilariously.

“Tumingin ka sa harap, 'wag sa akin. Tumingin ka sa harap, mag-pose ka,” Ryan told Melai.

“Palabas 'yan [sa] Korea kaya ayusin mo mga pose mo.”

“Bakit kay Melai, konti lang mga pinipicturan ng mga press ng Korea?” he jokingly asked.

“Please look at the left side... Ngayon naman Melai, tumingin ka sa likod, joke lang, joke lang. Sa kanan pala, please look at the right side,” Ryan also aired.

Melai Cantiveros is a prominent showbiz personality in the Philippines. She became famous in 2009 after winning "Pinoy Big Brother: Double Up." She also won the first season of the Filipino version of "Your Face Sounds Familiar" in 2015.

Luis Manzano is one proud friend of Melai, who just received a prestigious award. Melai recently won the Best Actor Award at the 2023 Asia Artist Awards (AAA) A few moments after Melai clinched the award, Luis took to Instagram Stories and lauded the comedienne. He reposted a photo of Melai flexing her look for AAA and wrote his hilarious message to the celebrity mom.

Kim Chiu could not help but react to Melai’s interview at the 2023 Asia Artists Awards. During the event, one of the hosts, Jang Won-young of the K-pop girl group IVE, approached Melai and had a quick interview with the comedienne. The K-pop star asked Melai how she felt about attending this year’s AAA, Kimmy then took to X and acclaimed Melai’s hilarious answer.
