Stepping up in the men's horizontal bar finals on Friday, September 25, the younger Yulo delivered a poised, sharp routine that earned a total score of 13.666. His performance featured a 5.0 difficulty mark, an impressive 8.566 in execution, and a 0.1 bonus point.

The score put him beside Kazakhstan's Milad Karimi, who also finished with 13.666.

However, Eldrew took home the bronze medal via tiebreaker courtesy of his superior execution score, capitalizing after Karimi suffered a fall during his routine.

When the final results flashed on the arena screens, Eldrew was visibly overwhelmed with emotion.
