A video clip showing Vice Ganda singing “Gento” by SB19 is making the rounds on social media.

The comedian sang the Filipino boy band’s famous song during the “Mini Ms. U” segment of “It’s Showtime” on Monday.

In the acting portion for a contestant named Rhaffa, the adorable girl was asked to comfort her crying elder brother, portrayed by the comedian.

“Kahit hindi naman tayo laging nag-uusap, love din kita e. Ako ba love mo ako?” Vice Ganda asked at one point in the portion.

After Rhaffa nodded her head, Meme Vice queried, “Gaano mo ako ka-love?”

As a response, Rhaffa widely opened her arms and said, “Ganto.”

Her reply then prompted the comedian to sing the SB19 song.

Vice Ganda is a famous comedian, actor, endorser, and host in the Philippines. He is best known for hosting “It’s Showtime” and for his commercially successful movies in the MMFF. The superstar is currently in a relationship with Ion Perez. He and Ion got their Certificate of Commitment in a special ceremony in Las Vegas, Nevada on Oct. 19, 2021.

In a previous report, a contestant on “It’s Showtime” challenged Jhong Hilario to a TikTok dance showdown featuring the hit song “Gento” by SB19. Vice Ganda was then told by the show’s management that they supposedly could not play the song since SB19 is already demanding a royalty fee for their song. Anne Curtis was disappointed since she believed that playing the song on the show could have been a good way to promote their song. The topic “respect local artists” became a trending topic on Twitter after the episode.

Vhong Navarro pulled a prank on his “It’s Showtime” co-hosts in their group chat. Vice Ganda and Karylle then narrated how the latter fell victim to the prank. As per Meme Vice and Karylle, Vhong tried to sell a Toyota Camry at P300,000 and shared a photo showing the car’s front view. Karylle then sent a direct message to Vhong and later found out that the actor was just fooling his fellow hosts.
