Speaking to entertainment reporter MJ Marfori during the Philippine launch of the modern food brand ARIH, Isabel was asked if she ever felt any hesitation about her husband, actor-director John Prats, teaming up with his former and classic love team partner, Heart Evangelista.
Isabel smiled and immediately dismissed any hint of awkwardness:
"Ay hindi talaga, not at all! Heart is a good friend. Mas nauna kaming maging friends ni Heart kaysa kay John."

Looking back at her history with Heart, Isabel recalled working closely together on projects like the local adaptation of Full House, where she played the antagonist. She emphasized how deeply she trusts the fashion icon:
"Happy ako, happy talaga kasi friend ko talaga matagal na si Heart... And I know her, sobrang... she's one of my trusted friends sa showbiz."
When asked if John consulted her first before considering working together again, Isabel laughed and shared that she was actually cheering him on:
"Wala, ako pa nga yung pusher! 'Go!' ganun."
Isabel also looked back on the courtship stage with John, recalling how Heart would even chat with him when Isabel was filming takes on set. She commended Heart for showing pure respect and kindness throughout the years:
