On the 14th anniversary of his passing, the celebrity mom shared several touching throwback photos alongside a deeply emotional letter dedicated to her late dad, George Daytia.

As seen on Instagram, a younger, smiling Isabel is pictured standing closely next to her father. In her long caption, she spoke openly about how grief changes but stays with a person through every phase of life.

"I always thought the pain would subside with time, but it hasn’t. Whenever I’m happy, sad, or confused, you are still the first person my heart wants to run to," Isabel confessed in her post.

Reflecting on her childhood, Isabel expressed her massive appreciation for the enormous hard work and dedication her loving father put in to make sure his large family lived a good and comfortable life.

"It still fills me with wonder how you provided so beautifully for all seven of us, quietly sacrificing everything and never buying anything for yourself just so we would come first and live comfortably," she wrote.

Now a mother herself to three children with husband John Prats, Isabel admitted that she still breaks down in tears whenever she remembers him, especially when thinking about the milestones he missed.

"I’ve learned to go through the days without you, but the pain never really goes away. No matter where I am, whenever the thought of you hits me, I just break down and cry. I wish so much that you were here to see the family we’ve built and to spoil your grandchildren. I know you would have absolutely loved them," Isabel shared longingly.

Despite the deep longing, Isabel finds peace in her faith, believing that her father is resting peacefully.
