In John's version, however, the twist had everyone in stitches. The reel began with him talking to Sam while he was eating. However, Sam eventually noticed something on John's face which he cleaned, prompting the latter to copy Johnmark's signature reaction to the kind and 'sweet' gesture by the other party.

Things took a drastic turn when John was about to 'transform' as his wife, Isabel, playfully slapped him.

"Tatatlo na anak mo, magta-transform ka pa?!" Isabel jokingly chided, referencing Johnmark's signature format, while John could be heard uttering a quick "aray" in the video.

A tearful John then responds to her while acting dramatically, with netizens praising the witty promotion:

"Hindi naman ako magta-transform... Ipo-promote ko lang yung concert ni Miss Kyla. Si Miss Kyla po may concert kasi sa July 3 sa Newport Performing Arts Theater. Magkita-kita tayo doon, wag niyo po makalimutan," he sobbed, which has since gone viral on the app.

The creative promo and trend-jacking completely delighted his followers. Fellow celebrities immediately swarmed the comments to share their laughter over John's dedication to the joke made by Johnmark.

Anne Curtis reacted with a long string of laughing emojis. While Arjo Atayde left a comment that showed just how much he enjoyed the comedic timing, "JOHNNYY HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH."
