It can be recalled that the new noontime show of TVJ and the Dabarkads, which is simply called “EAT,” has started airing on TV5 last Saturday, July 1, 2023.

In the photo that Ryan posted, one can see some members of the Dabarkads, which include Ryzza Mae Dizon, Maine Mendoza, Jose Manalo, Wally Bayola, and Paolo Ballesteros, or JoWaPao.

They are with the main hosts of the show, Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey De Leon, or TVJ.

Ryan also wrote a simple caption on his post, which might seem to be a promise to their followers.

“July 1, 2023❤️ 1 down, 4 3ver to go,” Ryan wrote as caption.

Meanwhile, support from netizens flowed in the form of messages in the comments section.

“We had to subscribe to DirecTV so we can get TV 5 just to watch you guys. Inabangan namin ang pagbabalik nyo. TV 5 broadcasted it live here in Washington, DC - 12am - 3am. We watched ‘til the end…kebs sa puyatan! We laughed and cried with you. #LegitDabarkads ♥️,” wrote one netizen.

"Eat Bulaga" is the longest-running noontime variety program on Philippine television. The show premiered on July 30, 1979. Its pioneer hosts include showbiz icons Vic Sotto, Joey de Leon, and Tito Sotto. Tape Inc.'s "Eat Bulaga" recently went back live on air on GMA with its new lineup of hosts, including Paolo Contis, Buboy Villar and Betong Sumaya.

Meanwhile, Joey De Leon wasn’t able to stop his tears from falling as he was giving a message to “Eat Bulaga” and TVJ followers during the launching of their new noontime show on TV5. Their new show, simply called “EAT,” started airing last Saturday, July 1, 2023 in their new home network. The comic trio became very emotional on seeing the immense support of their followers both online and on free TV. Near the end of their message, Vic said that they are still waiting for one more thing to come home to their new network.

Joey also took to Instagram and shared the total views that TVJ got on TV5. Based on the photo card that Master Henyo posted, they got more than 10M total views. Their peak live viewers on both Facebook and YouTube reached more than 500K. Joey was also very happy that while their current studio is their smallest, it is also where they got the biggest acceptance.
