Aiko Melendez, 47, recently gave her fans and followers an update on her health condition after she tested positive for COVID-19.

In an Instagram story posted on Thursday, May 11, KAMI learned that Aiko took a photo of her neck, showing what seemed to be a rash.

She then wrote a short update about how she has been feeling lately after she tested positive for COVID-19 this year.

According to the actress-turned-politician, she has been suffering from rashes and LBM after testing positive for the virus.

"Rashes... haist... LBM. Another achievement unlocked brought to you by COVID :(," the actress wrote on her Instagram story.

Previously, Aiko made headlines when she apologized to her constituents for being unable to attend her activities in the district.

In an earlier post, Aiko said, "It would be best for me to finish the quarantine period and until I test negative again to make sure that everyone will be safe and will be spared from the virus."

Aiko Melendez is a well-known showbiz personality. She received the Best Supporting Actress award in 2018 for her role in "Rainbow's Sunset." Aiko ran for and won a seat on the Quezon City Council in 2001. She served for nine years until 2010.
