Matet de Leon, in her latest interview, talked about the conversation she had with her mother, Nora Aunor, over the gourmet tuyo business.
On Monday, December 12, KAMI learned that Matet was invited by actor-manager, Ogie Diaz, on his channel for a much-needed interview amid the issue.
At the beginning of their discussion, Ogie revealed that Matet had to think hard if she would guest on his online show or not for an interview.

"Mukhang ano, nagdalawang-isip ka pa pumayag sa akin, Matet,” he began to which Matet replied, “Oo, kasi syempre ayoko nang palakihin sana yung mga issue diba?”

Eventually, Matet disclosed what happened when Nora sent her photos of her own gourmet tuyo business, sharing what her mother allegedly told her.
"Nung sinend niya sa akin yung mga litrato, sabi ko, 'Hay, salamat na lang po sa lahat ng tulong, ma.' Parang ganun. Tas sabi niya, 'Diba marami ka namang taping?' Yun ang sagot niya sa akin,” she recalled.
The celebrity mom recalled telling Nora that their gourmet tuyo business is the only thing she and her husband rely on to help their family.
"Sabi ko, 'Wala na po, ma. Walang-wala na kami. Walang-wala na po kami. Ito na lang negosyo ang meron kami.' Ganyan ganyan. 'Imposible, Matet.' Yun ang sagot niya sa akin,” Matet said, before eventually adding, "Bilib din naman ako sa bilib ng nanay ko sa amin na akala ni mommy na sikat na sikat pa kaming tatlo ano?"
At one point, Matet said she and her siblings are all having a hard time, openly admitting that they were all “struggling to live” these days.
"Eh ang totoo lang, hirap na hirap kami sa buhay namin. We're all struggling to live,” she admitted.
Matet also mentioned that if she asked Nora what her point was, the latter would allegedly claim that her kids no longer respect her.
"Pag tinanong mo naman siya, 'Ano po bang punto nito?' Wala ka nang respeto nun, 'Ba't ganyan ka makipagusap sa akin? Wala ka nang respeto.' Ang respeto yata na gusto eh itigil ko na yung akin to make way for hers. Eh Ogie, wala na akong trabaho, kaya nga nagne-negosyo kami ng asawa ko eh,” she explained.

Matet de Leon is a Filipina actress who is one of the four adopted children of Nora Aunor and Christopher de Leon, along with fellow actress Lotlot de Leon. Matet is married to Mickey Estrada with whom she has four children.

Meanwhile, Matet De Leon sent a message to some Noranians, the name of the fans of Nora Aunor, who have been bashing her and her siblings. They have been bashed online after Matet complained about her mother Nora putting up a direct competition to her gourmet tuyo business.
