Zanjoe Marudo shared a new photo of his son, Marcel Sabino, as the little boy prepares to celebrate his second birthday this September.

The actor posted the adorable picture on Instagram, giving his followers a new glimpse of his child with wife, Ria Atayde.
In the photo, Marcel could be seen sitting in a passenger seat while smiling and looking out the window.
Along with the picture, the proud father wrote a short caption to mark his son's upcoming birthday.

The sweet post was a simple way for the celebrity dad to celebrate another milestone in his son's life.
Several celebrities also reacted to the post. Among them were Eugene Domingo, DJ Chacha, Angelica Panganiban, and Iza Calzado, who joined in celebrating the little boy's latest milestone.
Marcel is set to turn two on September 23, 2026. His parents welcomed him on the same date in 2024.
At the time, Zanjoe announced the birth of their first child through a short video on social media.
The clip showed their baby being moved in a hospital bassinet. He also included the date of his son's birth in the video.
On Facebook, the actor shared his excitement about becoming a father.
"Eto na! Officially Zaddy ka na Z," he wrote.
The couple tied the knot in a civil ceremony on March 23, 2024, which also happened to be Ria's birthday. They announced their engagement in February of the same year.
Their family grew a few months later when they welcomed their first child. Since becoming parents, the celebrity couple has occasionally shared glimpses of their family life on social media.
In a July 2025 interview with The Philippine STAR, Zanjoe explained why they had initially chosen not to show their son's face publicly.
"Hindi ko naman siya talagang tinatago," the actor said, explaining that their decision was also about their child's safety.
He added that they were simply waiting for the right time to share more of their son with the public.
