The rift began when Nora revealed that she will launch her own gourmet tuyo and tinapa business even if her adopted daughter Matet already has the same business, which means that their businesses will directly compete against each other.
According to Matet, Nora knew that she already has a gourmet tuyo business but did not care about it because she supposedly has a lot of showbiz projects to fall back on.
In her new Instagram story, Matet denied having lots of showbiz projects. She added that she resorted to selling gourmet tuyo because of her inactive showbiz career.
“Ilalabas ko screenshots ng chat namin ni mommy para makita nyo na alam niyang may ganun akong produkto pero wala siyang pake kasi marami naman daw akong taping.
“Guys, wala na akong taping kaya nga nagtitinda na lang,” Matet shared.
Matet de Leon is a Filipina actress. She is one of the four adopted children of Nora Aunor and Christopher de Leon, along with fellow actress Lotlot de Leon. Matet has been married to Mickey Estrada for almost two decades now.
Lotlot was one of those who defended Ian after his revelation about their mother. She said that people should not easily jump to conclusions without first knowing all the sides of the story.
Matet also reacted to the issue and messaged the ‘Noranians’ about the bullying they feel from them. She took a swipe at them, saying that Nora’s children feel bullied by her fans. In her post, she defended her adoptive brother Ian de Leon, who was bashed by Noranians. Ian’s sister posted that it is delusional to think that a person is disrespectful for not allowing himself to be disrespected.
