Markus Paterson aired a strong statement during the first episode of ‘Boys After Dark’ on Rise Artists Studio’s YouTube channel.

In the 21-minute vlog titled ‘Truth and Lies in Relationships’, its hosts Markus, Anthony Jennings, Jae Miranda, Gello Marquez, and Aljon Mendoza talked about their experiences and thoughts on love and relationships.

At some points in the video, Markus cryptically said that a lesson he learned about relationships is not to date someone in the showbiz industry.

“Kung may lessons ako sa mga relationships ko, never to f*cking date someone in the industry, bro. 'Wag niyo i-cut 'yan, seryoso ako diyan,” Markus frankly said at 12:50 mark of the vlog.

He likewise reiterated the same remark at 19:41 mark of the video.

“Sa lahat ng mga manonood na batang artista o gustong mag-artista, 'wag kayong mag-date ng ibang babaeng artista,” he stressed.

Mark Paul Robert Paterson or simply Markus Paterson is an actor, singer, and host in the Philippines. He is the former boyfriend of Kapamilya actress, Janella Salvador, with whom he has a child named Jude Trevor Paterson.

During the actress’ guesting on “Magandang Buhay” aired on Wednesday, host Regine Velasquez asked Janella if she and Markus are still together. The 24-year-old celebrity mom then answered, “Masaya kami individually." Janella also stressed that she and Markus are focusing on their son, baby Jude.
