Ai-Ai delas Alas, animo nag self-destruct dahil umano sa pera, ani Lolit Solis: “Magkano ba ang ibinayad?”

- Ai-Ai delas Alas might have gone into self-destruct mode when she decided to do a video that appeared to attack a candidate during the last election campaign period, according to Lolit Solis

- The actress appeared in a political satire video that might have been intended to put another candidate in a bad light

- As a result, Ai-Ai was hit with a “persona non grata” resolution passed by the Quezon City council

- Manay Lolit, in a social media post, asked Ai-Ai how much was she paid for her services that it became easy for her to throw away a good relationship

Ai-Ai delas Alas might have inadvertently gone into self-destruct mode when she did a satire video that appeared to attack a candidate during the last election campaign season, according to Lolit Solis.

Manay Lolit said that even if one is paid to campaign for a candidate, he or she should exercise caution and see what could happen afterwards.

“Hayan ang sinasabi ko na dapat, kahit binayaran ka para ikampanya ang isang kandidato, dapat maingat ka at tignan mo ang magiging resulta nito ng pang mahabang panahon,” Manay Lolit said.

The veteran showbiz columnist then cited the case of Ai-Ai delas Alas who got some flack from the Quezon City council recently because of a video she did.

“Like in the case ni Aiai de las Alas, puwede niya ikampanya ang kandidato niya ng hindi magiging very personal ang atake sa kalaban,” the veteran showbiz columnist said.
“Parang self-destructing na dahil lang sa ibinayad sa iyo, forever ng tatak ang kabastusan na ginawa mo. Naging persona non grata pa siya ng QC dahil pati ang seal ng lungsod hindi niya iginalang,” she added.

Manay Lolit then said that one should think about the after effect of such video.

“Dapat isipin mo na meron after effect ang ginagawa mo na baka maging dahilan ng mas malaking damage para sa iyo,” she said.

The veteran showbiz columnist then asked how much was Ai-Ai paid that it became easy for her to throw away friendships.

“Magkano ba ang ibinayad, masyado bang malaki para talikuran mo na ang lahat lahat pati pakikisama ? Sayang, lalo pa nga at sa ganitong panahon, mas marami kang friends , the better. Hay naku, isip isip kasi, gamitin ang utak,” Manay Lolit said.

Lolit Solis is a Pinay talk show host, entertainment news writer, talent manager and showbiz columnist. She was born on May 20, 1947 in the city of Manila. According to the veteran columnist, she spent her early life in a poor section of Lardizabal in Sampaloc, Manila. She has made numerous controversial remarks about known celebrities.

She also expressed her opinion about alleged action of the camp of Andrea Brillantes in charging some netizens with cyberbullying. In a post, the veteran showbiz columnist said that instead of threatening netizens with such because of negative comments made towards Andrea, her management should talk to her first. She also indicated that the young actress might have had it coming when she herself made negative comments about BBM supporters by calling them “bobo.” Manay Lolit said the head of the talent management agency that handles Andrea is kind and suggested what they should do with their talent.

In a separate Instagram post, she praised the friendship between Senator-elect Robin Padilla and actress Kris Aquino. The two showbiz legends’ friendship goes beyond politics and show business, Lolit said. The entertainment columnist is referring to Kris being a supporter of Leni Robredo and Robin being a supporter of Bongbong Marcos. Furthermore, Lolit also admires Robin’s wife, Mariel Padilla, for cooking and sending food to Kris amid the latter’s health woes.
