According to Lolit, the two showbiz legends’ friendship goes beyond politics and show business.
Lolit is referring to Kris being a supporter of Leni Robredo and Robin being a supporter of Bongbong Marcos – a political rival of Leni.
The showbiz reporter also admires Robin’s wife, Mariel Padilla, for cooking and sending food to Kris amid the latter’s health woes.

Kris revealed earlier that she is suffering from different health conditions, including a life-threatening illness.
“Maganda ang friendship nila Kris Aquino at Robin Padilla, Salve. Beyond politics at showbiz, talagang na feel nila ang tunay na meaning ng pagiging friends.
“Very open si Robin kay Kris, and vice versa, kaya open ang communication nila, madali para sa kanila ang sabihin kung ano ang nararamdaman nila, problema o kaligayahan.
“Kaya nga ang una nakakaalam kung meron problema ang isa, iyon isa dahil nga bale ganuon ka close ang relasyon nila. Wala na ang romantic angle, dahil kahit si Mariel Rodriguez naging close narin kay Kris Aquino.
“Madalas ngang sila Robin Padilla at Mariel ang nagdadala ng pagkain para kay Kris Aquino. Mabuti na lang at sa mga panahon tulad nito meron ganitong emotional support si Kris dahil nandiyan si Robin. Parang isang shoulder to lean on ang presence niya sa buhay ni Kris. Friendship goal for Kris Aquino and Robin Padilla. For good time and bad times, we will always be friends, bongga,” Lolit said.
