Zaijian Jaranilla says he is open to accepting gay roles in future projects

Zaijian Jaranilla revealed that he doesn’t mind being give gay roles in his future films or television series.

KAMI learned from entertainment website PUSH that the ‘May Bukas Pa’ star opened up about the topic.

According to Zaijian, he admires actors, such as Christian Bables and Paolo Ballesteros, who accept gay roles.

In an interview with PUSH, he said:

“Dun ko sila unang napanuod, sabi ko, 'Ang galing nilang [gumanap] na bakla,' parang unang tingin mo palang, bakla talaga.”

He also added that it won’t be an issue if ever people make fun of him if ever he accepts such roles.

“Kung alam mo naman sa sarili mo na hindi ka naman ganun, na straight ka, tapos nakita ng ibang tao na tumatak yung pagganap mo, [ibig sabihin] successful yung pagganap mo bilang bakla.”
