Veteran showbiz columnist Lolit Solis recently expressed her opinion in an Instagram post the alleged action of the camp of Andrea Brillantes in charging some netizens with cyberbullying.

Based on the post of Lolit, she indicated that Andrea has been getting a lot of negative comments on social media.
This might have prompted the head of her talent agency, Becky Aguila of Aguila Artist Management, to threaten some commenters with cyberbullying.
“Sa halip siguro na takutin ni Becky Aguila ang mga nagko comment kay Andrea Brillantes ng cyber bullying, mas maganda na unahin niya kausapin si Andrea at pangaralan,” Manay Lolit said.

The veteran showbiz columnist then expressed her opinion that perhaps it could be because of the posts of Andrea where she called BBM supporters as “bobo.”
“Kasi nga baka dahil din sa mga posting ni Andrea Brillantes kaya nagkakaruon ng negative comments. Like iyon sinabi niya na mga bobo ang followers ni BBM, imposible na walang mag react,” the veteran columnist said.
She also revealed that people nowadays are not easily swayed by such threats.
“Saka hindi nakukuha ngayon sa ganyan panakot ang tao, mas maganda ang ayusin kung ano ang mali ng alaga para maka iwas pa sa gulo. Mabait si Becky Aguila at palagay ko naman ay level headed siya para makita kung saan ang mali,” she wrote in her IG post.
Manay Lolit then said that everything could still be fixed, just as long as Becky and Andrea are receptive.
“Madali lang naman ayusin dahil mukha naman smart si Andrea. Sana nga maging eye opener sa kanya iyon mga comments para maging maayos ang lahat. Saka isa pang opinyon na sana huwag masamain nila Becky at Andrea, puwede naman maging vocal kung sino gusto mo suportahan, pero di ba mas maganda kung medyo classy iyon dating? Huwag barok?
“Kasi sabi ko nga mas bawas boto pag nainis iyon iba, mas maganda suwabe paki usap lang, mas maganda ang dating. Goodluck Andrea Brillante, be a good girl, mas better,” Manay Lolit added.
Lolit Solis is a Pinay talk show host, entertainment news writer, talent manager and showbiz columnist. She was born on May 20, 1947 in the city of Manila. According to the veteran columnist, she spent her early life in a poor section of Lardizabal in Sampaloc, Manila. She has made numerous controversial remarks about known celebrities. She was also involved in the infamous 1994 Manila Film Scandal, where she induced several actors and actresses to announce different names as winners.
In a separate IG post, Manay Lolit said Andrea Brillantes was deprived of a free service from a salon because she called BBM supporters “bobo.” The veteran showbiz columnist said that had Andrea been a big star, the salon might have let pass her statement. Manay Lolit also said that since she’s just a novice without any star factor, what shouldn’t have happened to her happened. The columnist also said that what happened to Andrea should serve as a lesson to everyone.
She also penned a commentary about celebrities who supposedly endorsed politicians in an arrogant way. The entertainment columnist wants to see how those allegedly boastful stars will accept the defeat of their chosen candidates. Furthermore, Lolit speculated that their arrogant behavior might have turned off some of the voters. Finally, she advised those celebrities to not go overboard and avoid being self-righteous when endorsing politicians.
