KC Concepcion, 37, has opened up about her condition after contracting COVID-19 which had a "neurological effect" on her in a viral post on Instagram.
According to KC, "What I thought was a mild bout turned into something much more serious overnight. I felt a change in my motor skills and also knew it was hitting my brain."
KAMI also learned that the actress even had a "possible paralysis" but was arrested quickly by Dr. Albert Recio who acted on it urgently.

In her next post, KC uploaded a recent selfie she took and said, "This is me. Unfiltered. I appreciate LIFE even more now."

As stated in her Instagram story, the actress openly admitted that she was scared and that she couldn't handle it.
"You don't know how scared I was on Wednesday morning. I couldn't handle it without the meds... It's 5AM and I am up to drink my morning dose and will go back to sleep so I can get better... and get this movie finished!"
She then reminded her fans and followers to stay safe and that COVID is "not like the flu" at all in the said post.
"It's a whole different animal. I evaded it for 3 years! But just like that, it got me. From an asymptomatic person who unknowingly passed it on. Try your best to live your healthiest lives. And LET'S ENJOY WHAT LIFE HAS TO OFFER."
