Ryza Cenon opened up about some of her difficult experiences in showbiz, including what she described as instances of “power tripping” involving several big-name celebrities.

During her interview on Fast Talk With Boy Abunda on Tuesday, September 29, the actress admitted that she had experienced conflicts with some people in the industry. She also revealed that there were instances when she felt subjected to power tripping while working on different shows.

When asked about the experiences, Ryza said that they happened on different occasions and involved various productions.

"Marami pong instances. Iba iba pong show," she said.

Ryza explained that she did not usually fight back during those moments. Instead, she chose to remain quiet, particularly when she was still starting out in the industry.

Among the situations she recalled were incidents during scenes where physical actions that were supposed to be part of the performance became painful for her. According to the actress, there were times when she was actually hurt while filming.

"Sa eksena po, doon minsan totoo na po 'yung ginagawa na sinasaktan ka ganyan," she shared.

Boy Abunda then asked Ryza how she responded whenever she found herself in such situations. The actress said that she would often cry instead of confronting the person involved.

"Umiiyak na lang po. Hindi po ako lumalaban," Ryza said.

Despite not fighting back, the actress revealed that she did report some of the incidents. However, she explained that speaking up could be difficult because she was still new to the industry and was only beginning to establish herself.

"Nagsusumbong naman po, pero syempre dahil nag-i-start pa lang 'yung show ganyan," she added.

Ryza's revelations came as she prepares to return to teleserye after taking a break from showbiz for nearly a decade. Her upcoming return marks another chapter in her career after years away from regular television work.

Her candid discussion with Boy Abunda gave viewers a glimpse into some of the challenges she encountered earlier in her career, particularly during a period when she said she chose to stay quiet rather than fight back.

In another report, Ryza Cenon opened up about finally seeking medical attention for the persistent pain she had been experiencing in her right shoulder. The actress revealed that doctors found a tendon tear and compression affecting the outer portion of her shoulder. She decided to undergo platelet-rich plasma (PRP) treatment in hopes of easing the pain and eventually returning to her usual activities. Ryza also encouraged those dealing with persistent pain to have their condition properly assessed and ask their doctors whether PRP treatment may be suitable for them.

Meanwhile, Ryza Cenon celebrated her son Night’s latest achievement at school. The actress shared photos from his moving-up ceremony on Instagram and expressed pride in his consistent recognition at school over the years. She also praised Night for being articulate and confident despite his young age. Ryza encouraged her son to continue shining and believing in himself as he grows older.
