Rica Peralejo clarified on social media that as a Christian, she does not worship Vice President Leni Robredo nor does she consider her as a saint.

The actress added that she does not see Leni as the sole hope of the Philippines.
According to Rica, Leni and her running mate Kiko Pangilinan are merely role models for her as citizens of the country due to their intelligence, compassion, and integrity as public servants.
Furthermore, Rica shared that although she will get sad if Leni and Kiko lose in the 2022 Election, she will respect and support whoever will win. However, she will also call them out if they abuse their power.

“Dahilan na Kristiyano ako kaya gusto ko tong ibahagi. Hindi ko santa si Leni. Hindi din sya ang pagasa ng Pilipinas. Siya ang ehemplo ko. Sila ni Kiko. Sila din ay may talino at puso at katapatan na sa tingin ko ay karapatdapat sa pamumuno.
“Kapag nanalo sila, maligaya ako. Kapag hindi, malulungkot ako. Pero tulad ng mga iba kong ibinoto at hindi ibinoto noon, sinuman ang payagang iluklok ng Panginoon sa posisyon ay rerespetuhin ko. At kung sinuman ang umabuso sa posisyong ibinigay sa kanya ay lalabanan ko.
“Ang paglaban natin ngayon ay mahalaga miski alam nating hindi ito ang kasiguruhan ng kinabukasan ng Pilipinas. We fight for that chance, no matter how small we feel it may be. So that when it is all over we can say we tried our best and we can sleep in peace knowing we did what we could when we could.
“This is a very tense week. Highly heated. And instead of me saying na maghunos dili tayo siguro ang sasabihin ko nalang ay LILIPAS DIN ITO. Next week, God-willing, mas kalma na tayong lahat. So for now, practice tayo ng grace for each other as we make sure our voices can be heard.
“So tuloy lang ang pagtindig mga Besh. Hindi ibig sabihin na magkaiba tayo ay cancelled ko na pagkatao mo. Ang disagreement ay natural po. Kahit walang eleksyon nangyayari yan. Kahit saming magasawa daily yan,” Rica shared.
Rica Peralejo is an actress who used to be a cast member of “Ang TV.” The former actress is now married to a Christian pastor named Joseph Bonifacio. They have two children – Philip Nathaniel and Manu.
The celebrity mom has turned her back on showbiz and is now living a simple life with her pastor husband. Rica appreciates the quiet and peaceful life, based on her social media posts.
