Taking to her verified Instagram account @iam_iwa, the former actress shared a carousel of photos celebrating Mimi’s 13th birthday. The snaps highlighted Mimi's vibrant personality, from candid selfies together, to bravely wrapping a large yellow python around her shoulders, and relaxing on a sunny beach day.

"Happy 13th birthday anak… You're growing up way too fast and honestly, I am not emotionally prepared pa 😭😭😭 but no matter how big you get, you'll always be my baby girl.."

Iwa went on to give her daughter reassurance, reminding her of the safe haven she will always find at home:

After her exposure on StarStruck, she became known for playing villain roles in various television dramas such as Kung Mahawi Man ang Ulap and Darna.
