In today’s episode of Cristy Ferminute, the veteran entertainment columnist said she is really happy for Jennylyn and her life now.
Nanay Cristy even recalled the actress’ alleged experience on physical abuse at the hands of her stepfather when she was a child.

Kay liit-liit pa lamang po niyan, ni hindi pa niya kayang idepensa ang kanyang sarili, nabuhay na po siya sa isang klase ng sitwasyon... Hay, grable naaawa ako sa batang ito, pinapaso ang balat, sinasampal, sinasaktan.”

Jennylyn Mercado is an actress, singer, songwriter, host, and commercial model from the Philippines. She entered the show business when she participated in GMA Network's reality talent competition, StarSruck, and subsequently won. Her most recent performance was in the remake of Descendants of the Sun, in which she co-starred with Dingdong Dantes.
Lolit Solis posted on Instagram about Dennis Trillo and Jennylyn's wedding. She believes that Dennis and Jennylyn will have an amazing marriage because of the long journey they took to get there.
A few weeks ago, the couple also announced that the actress is currently pregnant with their child. It then garnered congratulatory messages from celebrities like Marian Rivera, Angel Locsin, Andrea Torres and Derek Ramsay.
