The Cavite 1st District representative marked the special occasion by sharing heartwarming family photos along with a touching message for his dad. In his post, Jolo expressed his appreciation for the love, guidance, and life lessons that Bong has continued to share with their family over the years.

Jolo began his birthday greeting by highlighting the significance of his father's milestone and the important role he plays in their lives.

"Today, we celebrate not just a major milestone, but also the wonderful person, father, and blessing that you are to our family. Sa bawat taon na lumilipas, lalo naming pinahahalagahan ang mga aral at ramdam ang pagmamahal na patuloy mong ibinibigay sa amin, Papa Bong."

The congressman also offered a heartfelt prayer for his father's continued good health, strength, and happiness. He expressed his hope that Bong would enjoy many more years surrounded by their family and the people who love him.

"Sa espesyal na araw na ito, dalangin po namin na patuloy kang pagpalain ng Diyos Ama ng mabuting kalusugan, lakas at sigla. Nawa’y patuloy ka Niyang gabayan at bigyan ng maraming masasayang taon kasama ng ating pamilya at lahat ng mga taong nagmamahal sa’yo."

Last January, Jolo issued a statement after his father voluntarily surrendered to authorities over an arrest warrant related to an alleged ghost flood control project. Jolo said his father chose to face the accusations directly and expressed his family’s trust in due process, accountability, and fairness. He also urged the public and media to allow the justice system to take its course while thanking those who continued to support their family.
