Bugoy Drilon expressed his gratitude to Toni Gonzaga after appearing on her interview program, Toni Talks, where the singer opened up about painful experiences from his past and the process of healing from them.

In a message addressed to Toni, Bugoy thanked the television host for inviting him to the program and for allowing him to speak openly about different aspects of his life. He said the conversation gave him an opportunity to discuss not only his dreams but also the experiences and challenges that helped shape who he has become.

“Thank you so much for having me i am grateful po maraming salamat sa pagkakataong maging bukas at maibahagi ko ang aking mga pangarap, mga pinagdaanan, purpose at mga karanasang humubog sa akin kung nasaan man ako ngayon,” Bugoy wrote.

The singer-songwriter said the interview also prompted him to revisit his own understanding of healing. For Bugoy, the process begins with being truthful with oneself and accepting the things that have happened rather than refusing to acknowledge difficult experiences.

“Muli kong naalala na ang healing ay nagsisimula sa pagiging tapat sa sarili sa pagtanggap sa mga pinagdaanan, pag unawa sa mga aral, at pagkakaroon ng lakas na magpatuloy at mas kumapit sa salita ng ating Panginoon,” he said.

Bugoy also expressed appreciation for the wisdom and guidance Toni shared with him during their conversation. More than simply being an interview, he described the experience as having provided him with a safe environment where he could tell his story and talk about the changes he attributes to his faith.

“Salamat sa mga words of wisdom and guidance mo i Love you Ate Toni. thank you for giving me a safe space to tell my story and to share how God has changed me. ❤️”

His message then extended beyond Toni as Bugoy addressed people who may currently be experiencing their own struggles.

“To everyone please keep going. Hindi kayo nag iisa,” he wrote.

Bugoy reminded his followers that whatever circumstances they are currently facing do not necessarily define their entire lives. He encouraged them to view difficult periods as only one portion of a larger personal journey.

“Ang chapter na kinaroroonan ninyo ngayon ay bahagi lamang ng mas malaking kuwento ng inyong buhay,” he added.

He also urged his audience to trust the healing process and continue looking forward to better chapters. His message connected perseverance with faith, encouraging people to seek strength through God’s words while allowing themselves time to heal.

“Magtiwala sa proseso. Heal yourself through his words mas magagandang kabanata pang naghihintay,” Bugoy said.

The singer ended his message by wishing his followers well and extending his blessings to them.

Klarisse De Guzman also participated in the exchange by reacting to Bugoy’s humorous post.

Previously, Bugoy Drilon became the subject of online attention during a livestream after viewers began comparing his appearance to that of a popular Filipino actor. Comments about the singer’s noticeable resemblance to the actor quickly filled the broadcast.
