In a June interview reported by PEP.ph, Bayani revealed that the project was being prepared for GMA. At the time, he said there was still no definite taping schedule because another sitcom was reportedly ahead in the network's production lineup.

Bayani also shared an interesting detail about how he and Rufa Mae became involved in the project.

According to the comedian, John Lloyd personally wanted the two of them to join the cast.

He recalled being told about the actor's condition for doing the sitcom.

“Hindi ko ito gagawin kung wala si Bayani at si Rufa Mae Quinto,” Bayani quoted John Lloyd as saying.

Bayani further said that John Lloyd is serving as a line producer for the project. He expressed confidence that the sitcom would push through based on what the actor had personally told him.

“Sa pagkakasabi sa akin ni Lloydie, sure na. Si Lloydie kasi ang line producer,” he said in the PEP.ph interview.
