Rufa Mae Quinto’s signature expressions “Todo na ‘to!” and “Go go go!” recently gained international attention after being featured in the Japanese variety program “Chidori’s Oni Renchan.”

The popular catchphrases were mentioned by Japan-based Filipino singer Beverly while appearing as a celebrity guest on the show. A clip from the episode was later reposted by Quinto on her Instagram page on Monday, May 25.

“Omg! Yes, sa Japan. They recognize us Filipinos especially our ‘Go go go’ and ‘Todo na to’ in life. Saya ko po,” Quinto wrote in the caption of her post.

The actress also thanked Beverly for referencing her well-known lines on national television in Japan.

Beverly later responded in the comments section and shared how much she admired the comedian.

“OMG hi Rufa Mae Quinto! I’m a big fan of yours! And when they ask me a Filipino gag, the only choice IS YOU!” Beverly said.
“I always watch your videos on [social media],” she added.
“Thank you for always making all of us laugh and have good vibes. GO GO GO!” Beverly continued.

The exchange between the two personalities delighted many fans online, with several social media users expressing pride that Quinto’s trademark humor had reached international audiences.

Meanwhile, Quinto is preparing to celebrate her 48th birthday on May 28. The occasion will mark her first birthday since the death of her husband, Trevor Magallanes.

Just days before her birthday, the actress also became emotional online after sharing glimpses from her late husband’s memorial service held earlier this year.

Rufa Mae Quinto remains one of the most recognizable comediennes in Philippine entertainment because of her unique humor, energetic personality, and memorable comedic style. She first entered showbiz in 1996 through the popular variety program “That’s Entertainment” before eventually appearing in several successful films and television projects. Outside her career, Quinto married Trevor Magallanes in 2016, and they welcomed their daughter Athena the following year. Magallanes passed away in 2025.

In the video, the actress demonstrated her well-known “shaker choreography” along with several funny dance moves. Quinto and Ilacad both competed in “Your Face Sounds Familiar,” where Ilacad eventually emerged as the grand champion. During the online buzz, some social media users also remembered Quinto’s old joke that she once claimed allegedly caused a misunderstanding and breakup with singer Erik Santos.
