The moment happened during the show’s Miss Q&A segment aired on September 4, 2026. GMA Entertainment highlighted the episode as a “real talk” exchange between the two, while ABS-CBN Entertainment described their interaction as playful banter.

It started when Brent teased Darren about his dancing skills.

“Ang galing mong sumayaw, halatang galing sa The Voice,” Brent told him.

Instead of letting the remark pass, Darren quickly defended his talents. He pointed out that coming from The Voice did not mean singing was the only thing he could do.

Brent then had another comeback. This time, he brought up his experience inside the Pinoy Big Brother house and jokingly said he had been tested by different challenges in life.

That gave Darren the chance to answer him again.

“Parang wala ka namang ganap masyado doon sa bahay,” the singer told Brent.

The unexpected remark surprised those around them, including Vice and Anne. The moment remained light, with Brent taking the playful jab as part of their exchange.

Their back-and-forth became even funnier because both stars used their respective showbiz backgrounds as material for the joke.

Brent used his PBB experience to tease Darren, while the singer turned the conversation around with a quick response about what his co-host had done inside the famous house.

There was no indication that the two were having a serious disagreement. ABS-CBN Entertainment itself presented the September 4 clip as “biruan lang” while asking whether the two had gotten a little personal during the segment.

GMA Entertainment also featured the exchange in its official It’s Showtime episode highlights, describing Darren and Brent as having a “real talk” moment during Miss Q&A.

With Vice and Anne nearby, the exchange quickly became one of those moments where one joke led to another until someone delivered an unexpectedly sharp punchline.

This time, it was Darren’s comment about Brent’s PBB stint that brought the biggest reaction.
