Rufa Mae Quinto turned emotional on social media after opening up about her grief and upcoming first birthday as a widow following the passing of her husband, Trevor Magallanes.

In a heartfelt post, the actress shared a photo from a family trip to Hawaii two years ago and reflected on how much their lives have changed since then.
“My birthday in Hawaii 2 years ago.. missing our family. We usually celebrate mother’s day, my Mom’s death anniversary May 26, my birthday May 28 and father’s day when we travel,” Rufa Mae wrote.
The actress then emotionally shared how she and their daughter Athena would soon return to their home in San Francisco without Trevor physically by their side.

“Now, me and Athena will go back to our home in San Francisco without you (physically)… after everything! You will be in my heart forevermore! Go go go!” she continued.
Rufa Mae also reflected on the painful milestone of facing her first birthday after losing her husband.
“First birthday ko na widow .. babang luksa. Looks like we made it! Anak!” she added emotionally.
