Comedian and singer Janno Gibbs is grieving the death of his beloved father, veteran actor Ronaldo Valdez, who died on December 17 at the age of 77.

At Ronaldo’s wake, Janno expressed his gratitude and appreciation for some of the famous people who reached out to him amidst the tragedy.

Janno shared that Vicki Belo and her husband Hayden Kho sent to him a heartwarming prayer card with the image of Jesus Christ and a message about God not wanting Ronaldo to suffer any longer.

Furthermore, Janno posted about receiving bouquets of flowers from famous actress Kathryn Bernardo and former Vice President Leni Robredo. Kathryn was very close to Ronaldo when he was alive as they formed a strong bond when they worked together on the series “2 Good 2 Be True.” As for Leni, Janno endorsed her during the 2022 Presidential Election.

Ronald James Dulaca Gibbs, or Ronaldo Valdez, was a veteran actor in both movies and television. He was notably recognized as the father of Janno Gibbs, who is an actor, comedian, TV host, and singer.

As previously reported by KAMI, Kathryn Bernardo, 27, looked back fondly at her memories with veteran actor, Ronaldo Valdez. On Instagram, Kathryn uploaded several videos and photos she took with the late actor. From video clips of Ronaldo singing to photos she took with the late actor while on the set of "2 Good 2 Be True."

Meanwhile, the last post of the daughter of the late Ronaldo Valdez where the actor could be seen in the photo has gone viral. It was posted by Melissa Gibbs, the sister of Janno Gibbs. The photo showed a smiling Lolo Sir, together with his two children. Melissa wrote that at that time, she was asking Lolo Sir what really happened to KathNiel.
