Along with the nostalgic snapshot, he reflected on how his wife brought pride to the Philippines when she won the international pageant 21 years ago. He also added a playful remark about how he continues to enjoy the blessings of her victory.

In his caption, Marco recalled the date of Lara’s achievement and shared how it continues to bring happiness into his life. He also joked about being fortunate to have married the beauty queen.

"The Philippines got a queen, and I get to call her my wife. The Bible says, “He who finds a wife finds a good thing” (Proverbs 18:22). It also says a wife of noble character is worth far more than rubies (Proverbs 31:10)."
