Gabbi Garcia is one of the most sought-after celebrities in her generation because aside from her beautiful face, she also has a lot of talents.
As reported by PEP.ph, Gabbi expressed her reason why she isn't trying beauty pageants even she's really qualified to be a beauty queen.
The Kapuso star said that she wants to, however, there are a lot of things that will be compromised once she joins.
"Gusto ko talaga, pero kapag wine-weigh ko yung pros and cons niya...Kasi iri-risk mo lahat ng kontrata, so wala kang network, wala kang kontrata, pati endorsements wala. So parang andito na ako. Sayang naman kung iri-risk ko lahat para sa pageant," she disclosed.
The most fascinating thing that she said was she was ugly during her childhood that's why she finds it flattering whenever people encourage her to join in pageants.
"Pangit kasi ako noong bata pa ako, may insecurities ako, pero hindi ako mahiyain kaya dinadaan ko sa pagiging bibo," she revealed.
She also mentioned her insecurities before that made her think that she isn't beautiful.
"Hooded eyelid ako. Wala akong talukap, linya lang ang mata ako. Noong bata ako, isyu siya sa akin na wala akong talukap. Lahat kami sa pamilya, walang talukap, nanay at tatay ko, walang talukap. Alam ko na hindi naman ako masyadong maganda."
On the lighter note, Gabbi was able to overcome and positively accepted her flaws.
"Nung tumanda ako, noon ko lang na-appreciate yung kulay ko," she confessed.
"Tinanggap ko na it's a phase you have to go through. But at the end of the day, if you accept yourself fully, wala kang magiging isyu. Magiging secured ka talaga," Gabbi added.
