In an exclusive video released by CCM Film Productions, Martin spoke candidly about how Montes has influenced not only his personal development but also the way he sees life. The actor said he has received tremendous help from his partner, particularly as he has grown both as a person and as a professional in the entertainment industry.

“Napakarami nang naitulong niya sa akin lalo na sa growth ko, sa personalidad ko, sa mga pananaw ko sa buhay,” Martin said.

Martin noted that while their relationship has already lasted for a considerable amount of time, he feels that their connection has become even deeper as the years have passed. Rather than becoming stagnant, he said their love has grown alongside their understanding and respect for one another.

“Ngayon natutuwa ako kasi sabi ko nga medyo matagal na rin kami, halos 15 years, hindi ba? Pero habang tumatagal, mas lumalalim ’yung pagmamahalan, ’yung understanding, ’yung respeto,” he shared.

Their relationship has also entered a different chapter as both Martin and Montes continue to navigate demanding careers. Martin has expanded his work beyond acting, taking on responsibilities as a director, creator, writer, and producer. He acknowledged that entering this more serious phase of their professional lives has not been easy.

“Lalo na ngayon pinasok na namin ’yung seryosong mundo namin hindi lang bilang artista kung hindi ako bilang director, creator, writer and producer,” he said.

Martin admitted that the pressure associated with their careers can be overwhelming. He explained that the demands of the entertainment industry could potentially affect both their professional ambitions and their personal relationship, making their support for each other even more meaningful.

“Sa totoo hindi siya madali, sobrang hirap,” Martin said.

Despite the difficulties, however, Martin said there is something particularly rewarding about being able to experience the challenges alongside someone who understands what he is going through. He emphasized the support, cooperation, and affection that continue to exist between them.

“Pero ang pinakamasarap kasi ay mas nararamdaman namin sa isa’t isa ’yung suporta, pagtutulungan at pagmamahalan namin,” he said.

The actor explained that careers in show business can bring immense pressure, to the point where people may consider giving up either on their work or on their relationships. For Martin, having Montes beside him has helped make those challenges more manageable.

“Kasi sa ganitong trabaho sa totoo lang ’yung pressure, maari kaming gumive-up, give up kami sa trabaho namin o masira ’yung relasyon namin,” he explained.

Martin was also asked whether Montes could be considered someone “given by heaven” to him. His response showed just how deeply he associates his partner with the person he has become and the path his life has taken.
