Teresa Loyzaga finally breaks her silence on depression issue of son Diego

Teresa Loyzaga seemed to have gotten enough of people who are throwing baseless speculations about the depression issue of her son Diego Loyzaga.

KAMI learned that the celebrity mom decided to hit back at netizens who always criticize her and Diego regarding the aforementioned issue.

Teresa also finally shared to public the words she said to the young actor in the midst of his trying times.

The veteran actress initially claimed that all people have certain kind of depression within themselves and it just varies on how greatly it affects them.

She also admitted to reminding her son about his true self and that he should never let other people dictate his feelings and actions.

“You know who you are. You are better than that,” Teresa said of Diego.

"And look, you have lived so far in your life, you don’t need somebody to tell you who you are, what can you do or what you cannot do. Don’t let anyone determine who and what you are,” she added.

With regards to how she helps her son, Teresa stated that she always makes sure that she is available especially in times when her children need their mother.

She also expressed that bashers will always be there against them and that she prefers blocking every critic who throws below-the-belt statements.

“I have two sons, so it’s not limited just to him. I always make myself available for my children and that’s how it will always be.

“Whether it’s Diego or whether it’s me, dahil marami ring nangba-bash sa 'kin or kahit na kanino, people will always talk.

“It’s up to you how you want to take it — you want to take it constructively, you want to take it negatively, you want to use it to better yourself?

"And if you cannot take it, block them! Just as simple as that!" the actress stressed.

Born on November 13, 1965, Teresa Loyzaga is a Filipina actress who gained more popularity after becoming the main antagonist in “Pasión De Amor.” Diego Loyzaga is her son to former partner Cesar Montano.
