These were just some of the horrible things thrown to Joanna Marie Balase Reyes's face after she announced that she's going to be a mother while still in school. Now, all the nay sayers can eat their harsh words as Joanna proudly wears her graduation robe.

"Hindi porket nabuntis ng maaga, wala ng pangarap," Joanna started her story with a quote to boast. She opened up on her Facebook account, reminiscing all the trials and hardships she faced from all the bashing she received from the public.

At 17 years old, Joanna already has two children. She shared:

"13 yrs old nabuntis, 14 yrs old nanganak. 16 yrs old nabuntis, 17 yrs old nanganak," opening her post.

Joanna said that it was not an easy journey, in fact, it's the complete opposite of that.

What she did was changed her perspective and how she saw things.

Joanna said that while she may have missed to enjoy her youth, she learned lessons early, which made her a much stronger and responsible person.

Despite the struggles she faced, she continued to put a brave face and stand up proudly. "NABUNTIS NANG MAAGA PERO PATULOY NA NAG-ARAL"

Now that she is graduating, she offers all her success to her family, and of course her babies.

"It's hard to be a mother and it's hard to be a father. Can you just imagine how difficult is it for one person to play the role of two?" Anna revealed why being a single parent is the hardest decision has ever made. Know more about this story on KAMI Youtube Channel!
