During an interview on 'House of D' alongside his wife Kristine Hermosa, Oyo shared his thoughts on husbands who hold onto habits at the expense of their households.
"Kasi yung sinasabi ni Mama, yung kunyari mga lalaki na gustong unahin yung hobby nila... yung mga boat niyo, yung mga motor ninyo... parang dapat siguro hindi ka na muna nag-asawa," Oyo candidly said.
Oyo explained that getting married requires personal growth and an intentional reset of a man's daily focus.

"Kasi kung ganyan ka noon bago ka ikasal, dapat nung kinasal ka magbabago yung priorities mo, diba?" he pointed out.

"I think you should still fix your priorities. Unahin mo muna [ang pamilya]. Oh tapos kung sige kung kaya mo naman talaga, marami kang pera, saka mo bilhin yung yate mo, yung mansion mo," he emphasized.
